I love the tension you point out between your vision for service and the reality that staff can get &quot;beaten to death&quot; in the process of providing that service.

Just knowing that you have their backs probably goes a long ways toward freeing them up to deal graciously with even the most nightmarish guests!

		<description>My leadership philosophy is based on meeting two goals:
1. That the guest (I am in Hospitality Mgmt) gets the service and experience that they are expecting.
2. That my staff does not get beaten to death executing the event.

It works pretty well for morale and staff enthusiasm!</description>
